camping trip

this past weekend i took a four hour trip to upstate ny to go camping. just to give you a little perspective of how far we went, here is a map...

it was nice to get out of the city and see some trees. the trip up there was beautiful. on the drive we went past woodstock and the catskill state park.

we stayed on the camp grounds in the saratoga springs state park. i had a trusty little tent as well. it was very cozy. it took me back to sleeping in our orange tent in the living room when i was little.



this is the lake that was next to the campground. there was a nice beach there that we went to saturday during the day.







all in all it was a fun trip hopefully something i will have the chance to do again!
