big weekend...not really

it was another big weekend here in the big city. friday night wasn't too exciting although i was exposed to two pretty amazing things, sabon and magnolias bakery. first i went to sabon. when you get in there they take you right over a big sink in the middle of the store and wash your hands with this salt scrub and then the lotion that goes with it. it felt like i had a new pair of hands. it was AMAZING!! then on the way home i walked past magnolias bakery. it looked mouthwatering! there was a lady making some cakes in the window. i was about to jump through the glass and take off running with the cake!

saturday was a low key day for the most part. it was really rainy out so i stayed in for most of the day. oscar got very stir crazy so we ran up and down the hall and did a little laundry, his favorite thing to do! saturday night we went out to celebrate mike, jess' boyfriend, doing so amazing on his gmat test. we had a lot of fun!

sunday was another calm day. jay and i went for the usual walk with the dogs to the park. this time, however, we decided to try out the big dog park were the big dogs run! oscar likes to think of himself as one of the big dogs so he proceeded to go up to the dogs and take the toys out of their mouths. needless to say the dogs didn't appreciate it. i feared for his life so we quietly relocated to little dog park where they all zipped and zoomed around. on the way back from the park jay and i went the back way through one of our favorite parts of brooklyn. cranberry street looked so pretty with the changing of leaves and the trees making the street feel like a tunnel.

right when we got home oscar went for the sun and tuckered out for the rest of the day. it was great!
