new material

know i have let the blog slip lately and i apologize. i will make up for it. so here is goes....

what's new in my life...

well to start out since my last post. o-man was sick. he got giardia and it was not pretty. i would not wish that on anyone. i had many sleepless nights while he was sick. yuck! thankfully he is better now. in fact i took him to the vet to get a check up and they yelled at me. they said he was too fat! they made a line graph showing his weight increase. so now he is on a diet and felix is no longer allowed to give him treats.



two weeks ago was the atlantic antic. is was crazy. they closed down a huge portion of atlantic avenue and there was food, music, crafts, and even horse back riding. jay, k, and i roamed up and down and took it all in. it was pretty intense though, there were SO many people. i couldn't believe how many people came out for it.





lets see...i guess the real big news is that i got a promotion! i am really excited about it. not much really changes with my day to day duties but i get a more responsibly like doing interviews, training new hires, and running reports. jay and k took me out dinner to celebrate. we went to this amazing italian restaurant in brooklyn called noodle pudding. it was one of the best italian restaurants that i have been to. and when we were there i had a star sighting. we sat next to two actors from the show ugly betty. one was eric mabius who plays daniel meade, betty's boss, and the other was anna ortiz who plays hilda, betty's sister. they seemed like very normal people! oh and another co-worker got the same promotion so we went out to celebrate! it was a good time!
