homeward bound

i got to make a quick trip home this past weekend, only for two VERY short but sweet days. it was a much needed escape from the city. there were only two things that i had to do. first, see jenna. second, relax! luckily i accomplished both!

friday morning i picked up jenna and went to breakfast at ihop. i didn't dare tell her that i had already been there the night before when i got in for my flight. but how can you resist those pancakes! it was so great seeing her and catching up. she also gave me a tour of their house. they are doing renovations and it looks amazing, right out of a pottery barn catalog! it is a bummer that i won't be back until christmas to see her again!



saturday my grandma came up so i could spend time with her. it was great! we went for breakfast, shopped a little bit, went for boat rides and most importantly played domino's! fun times!!! it was great spending what little time i had at home with the family. next family activity, thanksgiving in nyc!!
