visitors

my parents came to town this weekend. it was so great having them here. on their first day it was gorgeous out so took advantage of it. we met up with jay and made our way to union square. we walked through the farmers market and then went to lunch. after lunch he wanted to show all of us where his office is going to move to. it is a great location and a pretty sweet space. the office is huge. he was showing us how they are going to decorate and arrange it. it is going to be very nice. he definitely is in the big leagues now!



after that we met up with k and walked around a bit more. since it had been an early day for my parents we made our way back to brooklyn. we took all of the dogs for a walk and then went to dinner at chip shop. chip shop is this cool english pub that has awesome fish and chips. my dad said it was just like a bar you would find in england only the food was better. after all of the fried food and beer everyone was pretty tired so we just relaxed. my dad and o-man had some male bonding time on the couch!



on sunday we made the trek to target but first we had to stop at stan's for brunch. they have the best grits. we got to target before the crowds so all of the shelves were stocked and we weren't fighting for the last roll of toilet paper. my parents bought o-man a new bed and he LOVES sun bathing in it.



since today was their last day we decided just to say in brooklyn and walk around in the brownstones. i think that is my favorite thing to do. i know my parents liked it. there are even more trees blooming, especially the magnolia trees.
