below are some pictures showcasing some highlights of my trip home. it was a great trip and some much needed time away from the city. i was really bummed that i had to leave but i had to leave in order to come back.



so here is a picture of my wonderful puppy, pen. she would sit and wait at the top of the steps until i came back up. i couldn't resist taking a picture!



every year my whole family gets together for christmas to celebrate. the younger ones in the picture are from georgia and were so thrilled to see snow. we didn't have much but they made the most of it and built a snow man and even went ice fishing. there were no bites but i think they had fun!



i was so happy that i got to meet up with friends while home. we met at max and ermas, one of our favorite restaurants. they have the best warm pretzel sticks and tortilla soup! i was so excited to see jayna and catch up. i wasn't expecting to see ashley but it was great to see her too!
