day 2

today wasn't as crazy as yesterday was. we slept in a bit and took our time getting around. to start off the touring we went down to the world trade center. after that we made our way to union square. during christmas they have a christmas market going on so we walked around that for a bit. from union square we made our way up fifth avenue to see the flat iron building and then eventually the empire state building...



after we saw the empire state building we walked up to times square...



since we had pretty much seen everything between yesterday and today we racked our brains for something else to do. we decided to stand in line at "tkts" and get tickets for a broadway show. we ended up getting tickets for rent...



rent was great. a little different than i expect but it was still a great experience. katie's visit has been great and i am really bummed that it has to end so soon. she heads home tomorrow. wah wah.
