ok...so two weekends ago i went to red hook with justin and kierstin to go grocery shopping. they found the most amazing grocery store over there. it is so big. it is like a real grocery store that you would find back in michigan. they have just about everything you could ever want plus local favorites!
after our shopping excursion justin reminded us that there was a really good key lime pie shop over by the piers. it is called Steve's Authentic Key Lime Pies. we found the shop but it wasn't open so unfortunatley i have yet to try a bite. but the upside to finding the shop is that it happens to be at the base of the real world house. we strolled down the pier to see if we could get a look. they are all done filming so it doesn't look nearly the same as it does on tv but you get the idea.
we also were treated to the sunset by the water. i couldn't believe how beautiful it was. you would never think you were in nyc.
