even though it was a sad weekend i was able to spend some more time with family. we had a chance to go to ybor city and walk around a bit. it was so cool. beautiful architecture and some great bars! i unfortunately did not get to go to any bars but we did go to this amazing cuban restaurant, the columbia!
of course while down there we had to find ourselves some trouble. my brother and i hijacked my grandma's scooter and took it for a spin. i was surprised at the gitty up those have. my cousin and i even managed to almost do a wheelie on it!
on the way to the airport we had a chance to get the ultimate strawberry shortcake at parksdale. we always stopped there when we were younger. it was amazing!

sorry to hear about grandma gert ernie. I am glad that you were able to spend some more time with the family though. be careful on that scooter, I have come to realize the true potential those things have.
