baking away

as you have seen in previous posts i have caught the baking bug. a few months ago i took a class at one girl cookies for apple pie and this past month they offered a class for french macaroons. i think these are a new favorite of mine to make. they are a little difficult and temperamental but definitely worth the effort. and they help me suck up to my new co-workers!

this one is a vanilla cookie with a chocolate ganache. this one was the one i made. i am not being bias, but it was the best one there.



everyone in the class made different kinds of macaroons and we were able to take home a sampling of them. yummy.
