milwaukee

two weeks ago my good friend from wisconsin, where most of my childhood was, got married. my parents and i made the trek back to milwaukee for the wedding. i hadn't been back there for at least 10 years. it was so much fun taking that trip down memory lane. we went to all of our favorite places and of course back to see our old house. it was so crazy to see how some things have changed so much over the years and how so some things stayed exactly the same.

first thing was first and we had to saz's. they have the BEST mozzarella marinara!! two things that haven't changed there was how amazing their food was and their passion for brett farve!





for breakfast the next day we had to go to the sawmill inn. just has good as i remembered. it was one of my grandpa's favorite places to go when they would visit.



and of course another old haunt...weet wonk...



enough of the tour...now to the wedding. stephanie looked amazing. it was so great to see her again. not only did i get to see her but i also got to see a lot of old friends from elementary school.

this is me, stephanie (the bride), and katie. we grew up swimming together from the age of 5. this is three of the four from the 'awesome relay'. we were unstoppable!
