wonderful weekend

this past weekend it finally felt like spring. it was in the high seventies with clear skies and sunny. saturday i took advantage of every moment of the day. oscar and i went for a long walk all around brooklyn, spent some time watching the helicopters land by south street seaport and went to the park. later on in the day i had a touch football game on randall's island . it was the perfect day for a football game but it would have been even better if we had not lost 34-21. booo. luckily our spirits weren't totally broken to take a team picture.



i have never been to randall's island before and i was pleasantly surprised. first you have to walk over a foot bridge to get on to the island. the views from it are pretty neat.



they also have really nice paths along the water with flowers lining them. there are also big open fields that people were laying out in or playing with their dogs. there also were a bunch of cherry blossom trees on the island that were blooming every where.



it was a great weekend and can't wait for this weekend. we are having visitors!!!!
