there were a bunch of baseball diamonds...
there was a open field for picnic goers and pick up soccer games...
there was even a cute dog park with a pond for the dogs to swim in. it sure looked like they were having fun. i'm not so sure if o-man would have enjoyed it as much as they were though!
the main reason we went to prospect park was to see the lake and the boat house. on our way to the boat house we saw some gorgeous water falls.
once we got to the boat house we took a boat ride on this cute cover boat.
the lake was so much bigger that i could have imagined. the guide on the boat told us that the whole lake is only 4 feet deep!
to end on a funny note, there was a guy playing a flute in the woods. on the tour we were privileged enough to hear his amazing tunes.
