central park

it was another perfect weekend in the city. i met up with the girls in central park on sunday. o-man made the long trek with me to the city too. everyone else in the city had the same idea too. it was so busy. a big factor, besides the beautiful weather, was the israel day parade. we met up at a one of the lawns next to 5th avenue at 72nd street and we could hear and see the whole parade. it was going on the entire time we were at the park and we were there at least 3 hours. the upside to the parade though was the free concert that we got to listen to!

but of course he was a hit at the park. people were pointing and commenting and little kids wanted to play with him. he took it all in stride and took all the attention he could get!

besides the parade there were some pretty cool things going on. i only got to see a small portion of the park but what i did see was pretty cool. there is this man made pond were you can drive remote control sail boats. there were a lot of little kids driving them.

there was also this lady who was being a ballerina statue and every time she got a tip she changed positions. it was interesting watch her.
